SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 180 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 COUNTRIES: We thank the Lord for enabling EHC Czech to partner with local churches to spread the Gospel in 3 regions and in prisons. May the power of the Gospel of God deliver the inmates out of sin to repentance and salvation.
2) 400K+ CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: A member In one of EHC Bolivia’s CGs was threatened by a cult. Pray that the Lord removes the disturbance and strengthen the new believers with nurturing, faith, and courage.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC Kosovo faces a plentiful harvest but few workers. Pray for God to raise believers as short-term volunteers and participate in the outreach to the Serbian communities.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: Christians in Gambia are few yet many souls in the bondage of darkness await the Gospel. Pray for believers to serve the Lord wholeheartedly and collaborate with the branch to evangelize and nurture new believers.
2) CCIS UPDATES: As the celebration approaches, overseas groups have started registering. The committee is actively fundraising for the $350K budget. Pray for the Lord’s guidance and provision.
3) ASIA REGIONAL MEETING OF BRANCHES: We thank God that the annual meeting in mid-August at Siem Reap concluded smoothly. Pray for the ministries and Gospel plans to be successfully implemented in time.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) PACIFIC ISLANDS EHC BRANCHES: The evangelism and discipleship ministries of Guam, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Samoa, and New Guinea face great challenges. Pray for the Lord to bless their resource needs and efforts to spread the Gospel.
2) “THE BEST BLESSING” AND “GOSPEL EXPRESS”: These booklets will be reprinted and distributed in APAC to help the unreached know the true God. Pray for them to be touched and turn to Jesus’ unfailing blessings.
3) 36 CREATIVE ACCESS MINISTRIES: Political oppression and resistance from other religions put significant pressure on the co-workers. Thank the Lord for giving them courage in the face of persecution to spread the Gospel and prove that the word of God is not bound.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) “100 BIBLE LESSONS VOLS 1 & 2”: It is crucial to nurture new believers who have just known Christ. This book provides an in-depth and digestible explanation and can serve as a textbook for Bible study or a course for pre-believers. Pray for more pastoral workers to use it to help believers edify their faith.
2) PERTH CHINESE CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN AUSTRALIA: They recently ordered 6,000 copies of 30 different tracts. Pray for God to bless their outreach to those outside of salvation and increase the number of the saved in the church, and for smooth and timely delivery.
3) YOUTH DRUG ADDICTION: The trend of younger drug addicts is alarming. Authorities and parents are working to strengthen anti-drug awareness while Gospel halfway houses help addicts rely on Christ’s Gospel to break free from drugs. Please pray for all of them.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: Despite inflation, the brethren continued to give generously towards our ministries. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and He will fulfill our needs abundantly.
2) BOOK ORDER BY SYDNEY CHURCH: Christian Assembly of Sydney ordered over 200 copies of “Song of A Wanderer”, “Growing in Christ”, “Knowing the Truth”, and “Birthright” despite the high shipping costs to edify believers and seekers. Pray for God to help many grow.
3) LOCAL CHURCH AND INDIVIDUAL OUTREACH: Some brethren seized the opportunity to distribute tracts in the National Day crowds, leaving early without breakfast so not a single soul is missed and gave out 1,000+ tracts in a day. Pray for God to bless every tract reader.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) OIKOS OUTREACH MINISTRY: OIKOS volunteers often meet hostile individuals who threaten to call the police or take photos. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil. Pray for mercy on the hostile and safety for the volunteers.
2) MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL RALLIES: The Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes reunion, and many churches use this time to reach out with the Gospel to pre-believers. Pray for the Lord’s blessing and for the Holy Spirit to move people towards eternal reunion with God.
3) TRACT OUTREACH IN EAST ASIA: Recent shocking reports exposed a company colluding with funeral homes to steal bodies to make medical materials with their bones. Such twisted acts demonstrate an urgent need for God’s light. Pray that the 2 million tracts distributed monthly in East Asia provokes reflection.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) WORLD PEACE: The Israel-Hamas conflict has escalated to involve other Middle-Eastern countries while The Russo-Ukrainian war and Myanmar civil war rages on. Tensions also worsened between China and the Philippines. Amidst this turmoil, pray for everyone to look to the Lord Jesus, the giver of peace, so there can be a swift end to these conflicts.
2) “NO EASY ROAD”: The author describes prayer as the voice of Christianity or the throat of the Church. This path is difficult and few can persevere, so the book aims to help believers overcome praying obstacles. 30K copies will be reprinted in East Asia. Pray for the Lord to help believers in their prayer life.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Ps. Wu Su-Er has transferred to recover in a nursing home. Sis. Yang Xiaoyang has stage 4 lung cancer and has been coughing severely and has low blood pressure. Bro. Xin’s condition has improved and can now walk a few steps. Ps. Kao's legs are regaining strength for walking. Pray for the Lord’s continued healing and grace.
