SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 180 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 NATIONS: North Macedonia is a mountainous country which is economically underdeveloped and has many small and remote unreached villages. Pray for wisdom for the team as they strategize for the evangelizing of these areas.
2) 400K+ CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Myanmar requests prayers for recently baptized brethren and hope that they will grow in the Christ Groups to be effective soldiers of Christ who spread the Gospel to friends and family. Pray for the expansion of Christ Groups to facilitate wider evangelism.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: EHC Papua New Guinea is sending an evangelism team of 30 to the remote Hela Province in the eastern region, and they have to pass through an area with frequent tribal conflicts. Pray for their safe arrival and successful spread of the Gospel to many households.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 IN AFRICA: Zambia's Musoro Mtya village is a new focus area for evangelism. There is currently no church in the area. Pray that local believers become active evangelists after they are equipped and trained.
2) CCIS: Thanks be to God, the fundraising dinner was a success and raised 17% of the needed funds. Pray for God’s provision for the balance. CCIS also plans to print 20K Christmas tracts. Pray for churches and brethren to participate in distributing them.
3) COMBO TRACT – “JESUS THE GREAT SHEPHERD” AND “I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH”: The Lord Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd who gives up His life for the sheep and leads us out of troubles in life. These tracts will have 2 million printed in East Asia. Pray that the combined tract will guide many to find true help for life’s challenges.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) VISITING ISOLATED SENIORS: The news shows that many elderly living alone pass away at home unnoticed. God is love and desires us to also care for others. Pray for more brethren to visit and share the Gospel with those lonely elderlies.
2) CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: MSF reported that around 500 children were placed in children's homes over the last three years. Compared to the past, more children are being neglected or abused. Pray for God's mercy and for churches’ children’s ministries to help these children.
3) “NEW LIFE”: After accepting the Lord, we receive a new spiritual life that must be properly nurtured, else it remains immature and cannot edify others. 20K of this book will be printed in East Asia. Pray that it will strengthen the spiritual lives of believers.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) OIKOS OUTREACH: The increase in wars, earthquakes, and typhoons highlight the urgency of evangelizing to the world. Pray for God to remember the beautiful footsteps of the OIKOS volunteers and bless their efforts to lead many to God and to spread the Gospel.
2) “THE WAY TO A HAPPY LIFE”: Everyone desires a happy life, but true happiness comes from being centered on God. This booklet covers topics such as God, humanity, sin, Jesus, and eternal life. 20K will be reprinted in East Asia, pray for it to lead people to genuine happiness.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN OUTREACH: Rev. Liang has been distributing 40-50 tracts daily for the last 12 years and sharing the Gospel with those willing to listen. Pray for blessings on his committed efforts.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: Thank God for both new and regular brethren who pray for and donate to SEHC. Their support and contribution play a vital role in motivating our ministry forward.
2) TIMOR LESTE EVANGELISM: EHC Timor Leste has used up the nearly 4K Chinese tracts requested last year. Last month, SEHC provided another 3K tracts to them for outreach to their Chinese population, to fulfill our mission of reaching out to Chinese communities.
3) “KNOWING THE TRUTH” BOOK: Without truth, people are lost without direction and seek false hopes leading to worse emptiness and despair. Pray that this book will guide APAC readers to abandon falsehoods and find true hope in the Saviour.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) CHURCHES AND EVANGELISM IN THE US: The upcoming US presidential election reflects a spiritual battle lying beneath the political struggles. Pray that churches will continue to have freedom to defend religious truth and family values while spreading the Gospel under the new POTUS.
2) “EMPEROR OF THE UNIVERSE” BOOKLET: God is the Creator, and the evidence is clear and visible. He governs all and is also the Saviour of mankind. Pray that this booklet will lead many to come and know the true source of life and find salvation.
3) “YOU ARE INVITED”: Abundant Life Family Church led by Rev. Alan Ang distributed 20K copies of this tract and plans to reprint another 20K. Pray for their outreach and for the recipients to accept the Lord’s invitation.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) “LIFE IS WORTH LIVING”: Modern living has many challenges and pressures which can lead to negativity in life. Pray that this tract will guide people to seek the true God and find hope that life is worth living.
2) “NEW LIFE, NEW HOPE”: Elder Samuel Ching writes extensively for the Gospel and generously supports evangelism in South Asia's second-largest creative access city with sponsorship of 100K tracts each month. Pray for their mission to reach the unsaved.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Pray for the 3 pastors undergoing dialysis: Revs. Oh Beng Kee, Dominic Chan, and Joel Siew, and for Sis. Annie Wang of OIKOS who has tinnitus, Sis. Huang Qunkai who is recovering from a fall, and for Bro. Xin’s treatment and mobility and Rev. Kao’s health and stamina.
