FEED 5,000: EVANGELISM IN AFRICA

  1. A) EHC Liberia:The team achieved significant progress in its year-end evangelism and discipleship ministries. In Kepelle, 88 volunteers from 15 partner churches participated in the outreach, engaging 414 residents and leading many to salvation. A new Christ Group was established as a result, for which we give thanks to the Lord. In Korhogo, churches involved in the northern outreach ministry baptized 70 new believers, while 28 others were baptized in other regions. May these baptized brethren take root and grow in Christ, supported and encouraged by their church pastors and fellow believers to overcome challenges.
  2. B) EHC Comoros:The evangelism ministry in this nation faces immense opposition due to the strong and established influence of pagan religions, and pagans accepting Jesus is considered a severe crime under local law, with new believers subjected to persecution and overwhelming pressure to renounce their faith. Please intercede fervently for these oppressed brethren and pray that their communities may see the true light of Jesus.

CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN SINGAPORE (CCIS): MISSION SUCCESSFULLY ACCOMPLISHED

The 2024 Christmas celebrations took place from 14 to 21 December along Orchard Road as scheduled, and fruits of the organizing committee’s past year of hard work and preparations were evident. Over eight days, 23 performing groups from Singapore and abroad presented their best performances on two stages, proclaiming the joyous news of Jesus’ birth to their audience through beautiful and moving hymns. They not only fulfilled their mission for the Lord but also did so very successfully. In addition, an 8m x 3m gospel immersive booth used interactive multimedia to convey the true meaning of Christmas to visitors. The committee is grateful to the Lord for the support, prayers, and contributions from various churches and brethren. May all who heard the Good News be moved by the great love from Heaven, eagerly seeking to embrace the Saviour and receive God’s Christmas gift to humanity.

BREAKING BARRIERS IN CREATIVE ACCESS REGIONS FOR THE GOSPEL

EHC Country E: A divorced mother of six in this nation was deeply drawn to the Gospel and sought to know Jesus, expressing willingness to attend Bible study classes and worship service. She is also encouraging her children to seek Jesus. Pray for the Lord to provide her with a welcoming community church where she can become part of the body of Christ and grow in Him.

EHC Country N: Despite a hostile environment with strict bans on evangelism that intimidate believers, the local outreach team courageously continued in home-to-home evangelism. May their faithful steps inspire more believers and local churches to join forces with them to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.

EHC Country A: The Every Home team in this Restricted Nation is having a difficult time finding believers to volunteer for outreaches as most people are worried about losing their jobs. Please pray that believers would still find time to help in the work. Pray for open doors in 2025!

CHINESE NEW YEAR GOSPEL TRACTS, SCRIPTURE ORANGE BAGS, AND ANG POW PACKETS

The festive atmosphere of Chinese New Year is already evident in malls with rows of mouth-watering treats, lively decorations, and seasonal fashion put on sale. In this joyous time observed by Chinese across the globe, people celebrate renewal, family reunions, and well-wishes for luck and prosperity. However, the season is often also inundated with superstition and indulgence, and many are thus left with little more than emptiness after the festivities. Believers are encouraged to seize this opportunity to use SEHC’s gospel tracts, scripture orange bags, and scripture ang pow packets to initiate conversations about the Gospel during visits with family and friends, helping them to discover that true blessings and peace come only through faith in Jesus.
