SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 NATIONS: The French Wallis and Futuna Islands in the Pacific has a population of about 10K, mostly Catholic. The churches there have asked for help with discipleship courses and gospel materials. Pray for the Lord to lead their ministry.
2) 490K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: Christ Groups nurture believers where there is no church through discipleship classes and Bible study. Pray for them to grow into churches and become shining lighthouses for the Lord’s Gospel.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: Pray for God to help the branches heed our International President’s call to spread the Gospel with Christ’s love and bring His salvation to everyone, everywhere, and every generation.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: Millions need food in the drought-stricken Malawi, especially lonely seniors. Pray for God’s love to spread through the EHC team to the needy and bring humanitarian aid to them.
2) CCIS: Pray for the challenges CCIS face, to have a fixed annual venue and ample fundraising income. Pray for the brethren and churches to give generously.
3) EAST ASIAN MINISTRIES: Plans are in progress for EHC offices to be set up in South Korea, Taiwan, and Macau. Pray for the guidance and funding from God, and also for the strategic goals of the various EHC teams.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) SUSTAINING THE LEGACY OF FAITH: Besides sending the kids to Sunday school, parents also need to watch over their relationship with the Lord. The church and family can join hands to strengthen their faith and play their respective roles to ensure the faith is passed on.
2) “HOPE IN JESUS’ RESURRECTION” AND “RECONCILING WITH GOD”: 2 million copies will be printed in APAC to proclaim Jesus’ resurrection and let those who fear death know that only God can bring them into the light of peace.
3) “WHAT IS TRUTH” ENG-CHIN TRACT: Truth sets one free but sadly, many still choose to be deceived by falsehoods. Losing money is a small matter but losing God’s grace would be terrible. Pray for the Gospel’s light to illuminate many hearts and lead people to truth.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) “NEW LIFE NEW HOPE” TRACT IN PUNJABI: A God-loving church elder couple sponsored 2 South Asian ministry teams to print 100K each for distribution across various regions. We thank God that many unsaved found new hope in Jesus and a new life because of this tract.
2) “THE SERVANT OF GOD”: Elder Samuel Ching taps on 2 Corinthians to explain how one who serves God experiences Him and know Christ and offer the most pleasing service to Him. 20K will be reprinted in APAC.
3) SEHC MINISTRIES: A considerable number of books have been moved back to our office by our co-workers just in time before the storage rental lease expired. Thanks be to God. Many of these books can be supplied to local and overseas churches and ministries. Pray for the Lord to edify many through them.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: The Lord told us: “whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Pray for believers to make good use of this authority to pray often for the salvation of many souls.
2) “SONG OF A WANDERER”: Those who do not know or stray from God are spiritual wanderers. The author expounds the reality of God using religious faith, history, and personal anecdotes. Pray for the book to help wanderers to return to our heavenly Father’s embrace.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN TRACT OUTREACH: An 80-year-old retired church elder bought our tracts to give out. He lamented that he was too busy to evangelize when he was younger, so he dedicated himself to tract evangelism after retiring. Pray for believers to use their time to do God’s work.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) OIKOS OUTREACH: Sis. Wang is an active tract evangelist who often encourages other brethren to participate in outreach after fellowship meetings. Their beautiful footsteps bring God’s grace to many. Pray for God to touch more brethren to seize the gospel opportunity.
2) FOLLOW-UP WORK IN GAZA: Gaza has finally entered a ceasefire after more than a year of war. Conflict between Israel and Palestine was frequent in the last 20 years and both hope to find a solution for lasting peace and stability. Pray for wisdom from God to guide them.
3) “WHO IS GOD”: Idol worshippers in some places queue for hours overnight just to get CNY blessings. People would turn to false gods when they do not have God in their hearts. Pray for the distribution of this book will lead many to know the one true God.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) RISE IN THEFT CASES: News reports showed that mall theft has been on a rising trend, while flights and luxury homes were also becoming common targets for thieves. Pray for God’s light to shine upon those who are trapped in sin and bring them back to Him.
2) TRACTS FOR EASTER: Jesus lives! This amazing news tells us the power of death has been overcome! SEHC has 3 tracts designed for Easter. Pray for more to use them to let many know the significance of Christ rising from the dead and the hope His resurrection brought for us.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Pray for God’s healing upon Sis Jeanne Kao who is recovering post-surgery after suffering a fall, our volunteer Sis. Ou’s older sister, who is recovering after removing a lung tumour, Ps. Luo Meiqing who is having foot ailments, OIKOS volunteer Sis. Wang’s tinnitus, and Sis. Fang Jinlan’s pancreatic cancer treatment.
