FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN – EVANGELISM IN AFRICA

  1. A) EHC Tanzania: The evangelistic ministry of this branch has borne abundant fruit. Close to a thousand have made the decision to believe in Jesus have completed discipleship courses with them. As the Bible says, “Those who sow in tears shall reap with joy” (Psalm 126:5). The branch has since established Christ Groups in many villages nationwide, praying that new believers will grow strong spiritually and become Christians who overcome the world and evil.
  2. B) EHC Burundi: Influenza has spread widely throughout Burundi, infecting many people, especially children, the elderly, and those with weak immunity. Many families are under great pressure, and communities have fallen into panic. May God stretch out His mighty hand to heal the sick and guide the coworkers of this branch to advance church-planting ministries nationwide amid many challenges, to open new fields in communities where the Gospel has not yet been fully spread, and to raise up faithful servants to shepherd and lead new churches. Pray for the Lord to remember the labour and dedication of all His co-workers.

CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS IN SINGAPORE (CCIS) MINISTRY PLANS AND CHALLENGES

With hearts that love the Lord and relying on God’s abundant grace, the committee thoughtfully arrange annual celebrations and give thanks to the Lord. Entering the 23rd year of ministry, the challenges remain great, yet the committee is ready once again to welcome this year’s Christmas celebration. Besides program arrangements, last year’s hotel accommodations were less than ideal, so new lodging must be found for overseas performers. With limited funds, accommodations must be affordable and close to the venue to save transportation costs and time. Pray that the Lord provides. We thank the faithful Lord for supplying last year’s operational funds in time. However, after repaying part of a loan with $30,000 and covering various expenses, very little remains. We earnestly ask everyone to pray in unity for this year’s funding and that the Lord will move churches and brothers and sisters in Christ to give generously in support.

PROCLAIMING JESUS’ RESURRECTION AND VICTORY OVER DEATH THIS EASTER

Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day, defeating the sting of death and the power of sin and opening the way of salvation. This is the core belief of Christianity. Before his death in a dark Roman prison, the apostle Paul urged Timothy to remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, according to the Gospel he preached (2 Timothy 2:8). As Easter approaches, let us commemorate this important day by proclaiming Jesus’ resurrection, allowing the dawn of His resurrection to shine on those under the shadow of death, freeing them from despair and bringing them into God’s kingdom of light. SEHC has prepared three Easter tracts and encourages churches and brethren to distribute them widely during Easter, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus’ resurrection so that more people may receive salvation and discover the hope of resurrection.

EHC BRANCHES IN CREATIVE ACCESS REGIONS OPEN NEW FIELDS AND SAVE SOULS

EHC Country C: Believers here face danger when holding public gatherings and worship and fellowship are difficult to arrange. Please pray urgently for them. May young people in this region receive discipleship amid hardship, have their faith strengthened, and follow the Lord bravely without fear.

EHC Country E: Despite cultural pressure, believers hold firmly to their faith. Even in remote areas, through the team’s efforts, the Gospel has overcome many obstacles and spread widely. God’s word has entered hearts and through the power of the Holy Spirit transformed communities. We offer our thanks to the Lord for this.

EHC Country G: Sudden and frequent earthquakes have left people fearful. Please pray for the disaster victims and for those still living under the shadow of past disasters to receive peace and healing. In times of crisis, may residents remain alert, draw closer to God, and spend time in prayer. Pray that the church will become a source of hope and comfort for all in need.

CHINESE AND ENGLISH EDITIONS OF “CHANGE THE WORLD SCHOOL OF PRAYER”

Prayer is the best way to draw near to God and the strongest weapon to resist the enemy. God’s work must be accomplished through prayer, and prayer requires learning and practice. To teach believers about prayer, former Every Home for Christ (EHC) International President Rev. Dr. Dick Eastman compiled his years of biblical study, ministry practice, and spiritual experience into this book. Divided into seven chapters, it discusses life and prayer practice, ministry accomplished through prayer, and building habits of prayer, etc. It is suitable for pastors and church leaders to teach believers to practice prayer daily and apply its principles and truths, raising prayer warriors and reviving church prayer meetings, sustaining God’s work through prayer, and changing the world through prayer.

“JOURNEY OF GRACE” AND “THE GREAT QUESTION OF LIFE” - A LIFE WITH JESUS

The first book is written by Bro. Li Jingkang. This work provides a general outline of his life experiences under God’s grace. These experiences of grace reflect a person’s obedience to God, as well as God’s guidance and blessings that transcend human logic and worldly reasoning. Within these pages are the extraordinary spiritual insights and life experiences of one who has walked in His grace. The second book is authored by Dr. James Yu. Its primary focus is the meaning of life, the true meaning of existence, which is not found in death. Rather, it is the absence of death and is eternal life which comes through Jesus. Life is full of many problems. Sometimes, we do not even realize where we have gone wrong. The omniscient Lord Jesus understands our true needs and calls us to stop running in the wrong direction. Both of these books are ideal gifts for friends who are already believers. Pray for the Lord to use these works for His purpose.

COLLECTED THOUGHTS OF A PILGRIM” AND “GROWING IN CHRIST” - GROWTH IN LIFE

The first book, written by the late Rev. Hsueh Yu Kwong, is the fourth instalment in his four-volume series. This book features many of the author’s devotional reflections, comprehensive sermon notes, and various manuscripts requested for periodicals. While many pastoral writings lean toward a more academic and doctrinal style, Rev. Hseuh focuses on a blend of biblical truth and personal experience. The second book is authored by Elder Wong Kwok-Hin and comprises forty chapters. It explores key topics such as salvation, the Bible as the Word of God, the restoration of fellowship, and the Second Coming of the Lord. Each chapter begins with a scripture passage, followed by the author’s explanation of its essence in simple, accessible language. Both books are excellent resources for the edification of new believers. You are most welcome to purchase them.

“EMPEROR OF THE UNIVERSE” AND “WHO IS GOD” - THE SOURCE OF LIFE

The first booklet, written by Rev. Dr. Dick Eastman, invites readers to seek the meaning of life and the ultimate source of existence. The author addresses several fundamental questions: the source of life, the source of truth, the source of hope, and the source of joy. The challenges of life can only be truly resolved by knowing the Emperor of the Universe. The second booklet is authored by Dong Dayuan and Pei Ruiming. It is a study exploring the roots of Chinese faith, aiming to demonstrate that the ancient Chinese people’s understanding of faith in God served as the very foundation of their nation-building. Both of these booklets are excellent resources for evangelism. We pray that believers would purchase them as gifts for non-believing relatives, friends, and colleagues.

ALL THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS” AND “VICTORIOUS PRAYER COURSE” - UNDERSTANDING BIBLICAL TRUTH

The second book, by Rev. Both books help believers grow spiritually. Pray for the Lord’s use of them in His work.
