FEED 5,000 – EVANGELISM CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA

1. A) EHC Republic of the Congo: Goma, the eastern political and economic hub, has faced drone strikes resulting in the loss of many lives. Bro. Kennedy, an EHC coworker, was brutally attacked and beaten by rebels while transporting Gospel materials to Mukobe village. His motorcycle and materials were stolen from him. Pray for his recovery and for the safety and peace of all coworkers in the field.
2. B) EHC Cameroon: A coworker led a five-year-old boy blinded by witchcraft to the Lord, and God’s healing restored his sight, leading his entire family to faith. Pray for continued miracles within this household. In an outreach to a commercial city, 67 people accepted Jesus despite the generally skeptical environment there. Pray for their faith to remain firm to follow and shine for the Lord.
3. C) EHC Lesotho: We thank God for the completion of outreach goals by the co-workers and volunteers across various villages. EHC materials are transforming lives, leading to the establishment of new Christ Groups and the growth of mature groups into established churches. Thanks be to God for His vast grace of salvation!

CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN SINGAPORE (CCIS) 2026 PLANS AND CHALLENGES

"And this Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations" (Matthew 24:14). Although the Great Commission is a daunting challenge, it is not an impossible task, for God’s commands also carry His promises. This is the driving force that sustains the committee's perseverance year after year despite numerous difficulties. We thank the faithful Lord for His guidance year after year, allowing the ministry to proclaim the Good News of Christmas to our fellow countrymen on Orchard Road and to bear witness to people from all nations, including many who are unable to hear the precious Gospel in their own home countries. Given the current global instability and the urgency of the times, the Gospel ministry requires the full support and intercession of all churches and brethren. The fundraising dinner has been confirmed for 08 September (Tuesday) this year at Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine. We pray the Lord leads us to raise the necessary funds for this year's ministry. Regarding the program, the committee is already in discussions with overseas groups. In addition to local churches, last year’s participants included Thai, Korean, and Japanese-speaking churches; we hope a Myanmar church can participate and perform this year. May the Lord guide all preparatory work as we earnestly request your prayers.

SEHC MINISTRY UPDATES AND PRAYER REQUESTS

Last quarter, we distributed 4,543 spiritual books and booklets. Top titles included “On Organ Transplantation” (1,875) and the English gospel comic “Hijacked” (1,815). Other titles included “The Best Gift” (256), “True Happiness Can Be Yours” (171) which is an excellent tool to deliver the message of salvation, “The Choice” comic (125), various gospel booklets (106), “Teacher Chan’s Sermons” (63), “Our Daily Focus” (38), “Truth that Edifies the Spirit” (18), and various Chinese and English titles (76). Reading is a wonderful source of personal enrichment. Whether for evangelism or personal edification, these resources strengthen believers’ faith, inspire truth-seekers, give direction to the lost, and comfort the broken. We encourage you to read more of these books and to also recommend them to friends and family, benefitting both your own growth and helping others.

USE OF SEHC GOSPEL TRACTS BY CHURCHES AND BRETHREN THIS MARCH

In this corrupt world, God uses the testimony of believers to light up dark hearts (Matt 5:14). While many are blinded by sin and reject the Good News, those chosen by God are drawn to the Saviour with open hearts through the evangelistic seeds you sow. The great evangelist D.L. Moody vowed to share the Gospel with at least one person daily. May we all also carry this burden for the Gospel so those mired in sin can taste sweet salvation. SEHC’s tracts all deliver clear and easy to understand gospel messages, and if each of us shares one tract a day, over 300 people will hear the Gospel in a year. May Christ’s love flowing from the cross compel us to lead many to Him.

FEARLESS OUTREACH BY EHC TEAMS IN CREATIVE ACCESS REGIONS

EHC Country M: Volunteers here face immense challenges. Pray for strength and wisdom to see God’s hand in all circumstances. Pray for national security and stability, and the amendment of laws targeting Christians. Pray for wisdom and courage, and for new co-workers to be raised, so we can reach every region.

EHC Country K: Pray for persecuted Christians in this nation. Six families were forced to flee into the forest for safety because of their faith. Pray for their rescue, provision of food and supplies, and a safe place of refuge.

EHC Country Q: Please pray for the situation in the Middle East. Sirens and shrapnel damage are frequent every day. Coworkers seek shelter during these alarms. Pray for them and their families’ protection and God’s peace to follow them. The team has started visits and distribution of tracts. Pray for their journeys and for locals to seek not only physical safety but more importantly eternal salvation in the one true God through Jesus Christ.

“THE ONE WHO WALKS AHEAD” AND “REMEMBERING THE SOURCE” – JESUS IN YOUR LIFE

The former book was written by veteran pastor Mu Sheng and contains a total of ten chapters. The topics explored include understanding the environment arranged by God, being a worker who shifts the era, submitting under the Cross to be dealt with, and setting one’s path toward Jerusalem. A person who can truly serve God sees only the work of God within us. For one who walks ahead of the flock, the first priority should be to place oneself under the Cross to be accountable. The latter book was written by Bros. Dong Dayuan and Pei Ruiming. This book explores the beliefs and concepts of the Chinese people regarding God. The content in this book has been thoroughly researched and is based on historical records, with most materials originating from the Bible and the Chinese "Si Shu Wu Jing" (Four Books and Five Classics). Pray for the Lord to bless and use it.

“SIMPLE HOMILETICS” AND “DISCIPLE COURSE PART 2” – HELPING YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE MORE

The former book was written by Rev. Dr. Lukas Tjandra. This book explores homiletics, which guides us on how to use scientific methods to explain the truths of the Bible to others in an orderly, artistic, and powerful way, so that listeners will be truly convinced by the Gospel of Christ. The latter book was written by Elder Samuel Ching. Its content primarily includes definitions of important biblical terms, knowing God, knowing Christ and His ministry, understanding angels, and exposing the devil. To enable students to understand Bible truths more accurately, this course includes relatively detailed explanations. May the Lord use these two books to edify believers.

“THE BIBLE: GOD’S WORD TRANSCENDING SPACE-TIME” AND “DAILY MANNA”

The first book was written by Dr. Wu Guo An, MD. The content of this book mainly verifies the credibility of the Bible from scientific and rational perspectives. Following a chronological order from the Old Testament to the New Testament, and from Genesis to Revelation, the book uses the method of comparative chronology to prove that the Bible indeed originates from the Word of God rather than being merely a human construct. The latter book was written by Elder Samuel Ching. Arranged according to biblical sequence from Psalm 106 to Job, and from Genesis to Judges Chapter 16, it selects one verse from each chapter paired with a short message to serve as daily devotional material. “THE PURSUIT” AND “KNOW THE TRUTH” – SHOWING YOU THE TRUE MEANING OF LIFE

The first book was written by Mr. Erny. This book is like a bright lamp for life, providing a correct answer to existence so that one may live a bright and beautiful life. Human history is a record of the search for the meaning of life. Simply by trusting in Jesus, life becomes more abundant. The latter book was written by Dr. Zhang Yu Lan, and is a collection compiled by the author from famous works he has read, sermons he has heard, and evidence he has experienced, enabling friends to see the true light of God early. Topics explored include: Is there a God after all? Is the Bible inspired by God? and Is Jesus the Son of God? May these two books benefit all who seek the Way of the Lord.
