SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 155 NATIONS: Georgia has many impoverished families with suffering children and the EHC team there seeks to provide aid to them. Pray for the Lord to open the doors for evangelism.
2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Papua New Guinea sent 18 students from their discipleship school for evangelistic outreach and to build partnerships with churches to form new Christ Groups. Pray for them to work together to nurture disciples for Christ.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: Despite the remote distance and cold snowy climate, volunteers of EHC Bulgaria managed to deliver the Gospel to mountain villages before winter arrived. Pray for the light of Christ to illuminate the villagers.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 – EVANGELISM IN AFRICA: The Sagara tribe from the Morogoro region of Tanzania has a tradition of child marriage. Pray for the grace of Christ to save the young ones from this bondage of darkness.
2) CCIS: We thank God for the successful fundraising dinners and pray for God to provide the remaining funds needed. The overseas performers were enthusiastically coming onboard, and we have successfully applied to put up a larger stage for the event. Pray for the visitors to learn the true meaning of Christmas.
3) “COME CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS” AND “BLESSED CHRISTMAS”: Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Christmas is not about shopping and dining but salvation and these tracts guide readers towards the truth, with 2M printed for APAC. Pray for their wide use.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS MINISTRY: The ministry has reached 21 neighbourhoods with many positive responses towards the Gospel. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in people’s hearts and lead them to embrace Christ soon.
2) READING CLUB: The club finished “No Easy Road” recently and learned the power of change hidden in prayer, helping new intercessors to learn to pray systematically and regularly. Pray for the next book to be read by the club, which is “The Hour that Changes the World”.
3) A SOUL A DAY MINISTRY: ASAD is active in outreach and also organizes training classes on evangelism techniques. The next class is on 18 Nov. Pray for many brethren to come and receive equipping.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) PRAY FOR ISRAEL: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may those who love you be secure”. The war in the Gaza Strip brought instability to the Middle East. Pray for both sides to cease warring through Christ’s peace.
2) BIBLE: “The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword” In these end times, only His word can penetrate the darkness and bring hope. 10K will be printed for APAC. Pray for its use by God.
3) “EMPEROR OF THE UNIVERSE”: This little booklet is a special invitation to know the Lord of the universe, for He is real and wants all to have peace and joy! 50K will be printed for the APAC. Pray for its use by God.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: The tough times and inflation have affected even gospel ministries and your support and prayers are needed more than ever. Pray for God’s blessings to come upon the unsaved.
2) SEHC IS HIRING: We seek an Asst. Director and an Executive Editor who is experienced in administrative management. Candidates should be trained in theology, effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, and is skilled in writing, fundraising, and promoting literary ministry. Pray for suitable candidates from the Lord.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN TRACT OUTREACH: The effectiveness of tracts is obvious for all to see, and as the Holy Spirit nurture the seeds of the Gospel, the evangelist will also be joyful when many are saved. Pray for more brethren to become fishers of men.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) 500K COPIES OF TWO 2024 CALENDARS: Distributing gospel calendars is one of many ways to spread the Good News, so that God’s word can speak to recipients all year round. Pray for the distribution in APAC to lead many to know Christ.
2) “THE BIBLE – TRANSCENDENT WORD OF GOD”: Dr. Bill Wu’s rigorous writing and detailed analyses uses scientific facts to proof the validity and authority of the Bible in topics like the origin of the universe and humankind. This is a wonderful read for intellectuals.
3) NATION AGAINST NATION, KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM: While the Russo-Ukrainian war continues in a stalemate, another war has ignited in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine. In Asia, a refugee camp in northern Myanmar was attacked by the local military. All these reflect the coming fulfillment of the eschatological prophecies in the Bible. Pray for God’s mercy on the innocent and for the Gospel to reach many unsaved souls while there is still time.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) “HAPPY FAMILY GUIDEBOOK”: Times have changed, and the traditional concept of family is in peril. The book offers practical advice based on biblical teachings to help parents and children build a tight-knit family and guide the young ones towards faith in God.
2) KURUMI LAMB AUDIO PLAYER: This plush lamb is an audio player for Bible verses, hymns, and Bible stories and is suitable as a Christmas gift for children. Proceeds will go towards supporting CCIS operations.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Our long-time volunteer, 90-year-old Sis. Chen Qingxiang suffered a stroke and could not eat or speak. Rev. Dr. Hwang Chu Loon is unable to breathe properly due to a bad lung infection. Bro. Xin is still recovering at home from his surgery and could not move about. Pray for God’s healing and mercy for all these brethren.
