SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 155 NATIONS: Gang and drug cartel clashes in Ecuador have caused fear and instability in society. Pray for the EHC team to rally churches and believers to reach out to the affected people with the Gospel.
2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS AROUND THE WORLD: EHC teams set up CGs to nurture new believers whenever they enter churchless regions. Pray for CG members to grow to be beacons for Christ in their communities.
3) EHC HQ AND BRACHES IN EVANGELISM: Global inflation increased paper and printing costs which hit EHC Germany’s ministry badly. Pray for them to find affordable options to continue producing their literary ministry materials.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: Messamena is a remote little town in Cameroon plagued by witchcraft, crimes, and vice. Pray for the ministry of the EHC team to bring God’s light into many hearts there.
2) CCIS: After much preparation, the event is finally ready to kick off at Orchard Road. Pray for the shortfall in funds and for all visitors to know the true meaning of Jesus’ birth which is to save all mankind.
3) EHC HQ LEADERS: Pray for the ministry in our HQ in Colorado and for our President to experience God’s guidance in his busy schedule. Pray also for insight amidst these turbulent times to prosper the ministry.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) “NEW LIFE NEW HOPE”: EHC Thailand reached out to 8 provinces with poor public order in the south using this tract. Results were encouraging and many locals were impressed by their courage. They also went to prisons and churches. Pray for their tract supplies.
2) THE UNASHAMED SERVANT: 10K copies of this collection of Rev. Dr. Joseph Tong’s sermon commentaries will be printed for the APAC to help ministry workers become unashamed servants of God. Rev. Tong is over 80 years old and was in Singapore for a farewell visit in October. Pray for God to watch over His servant.
3) 100-VILLAGES MINISTRY IN INDIA: Under Rev. Christopher’s leadership, they reached out to villages together with many churches. Rev. Christopher has taken ill and his daughter-in-law, Sis. Persis now upholds and continues the ministry. Pray for his health and their Christmas outreach.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) USED GOSPEL VAN FOR SEHC: We have since raised $40K but it is still insufficient for a used van. As the deadline to scrap the old van approaches, the urgency grows by the day. Pray for more help from the brethren.
2) 36 EHC BRANCHES IN CREATIVE ACCESS REGIONS: 67 children and 17 adults accepted Christ in South Asia because of the co-workers’ outreach. Evangelism to kids is an effective way to carry on spreading the Good News. Pray for their faith to take root in the Lord.
3) SEHC BOOKROOM: SEHC strives to improve reading habits by giving complimentary books to churches and brethren. 600 books were recently gifted to needy communities in Kelantan through Bro. Lim. Pray for God’s blessings upon the readers.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: Inflation has affected evangelism costs as well, but God is the God of blessings and in Him there is no want. May He remember the brethren’s prayers and offerings and grant them abundance for self and others.
2) READING CLUB: The members started to apply what they learnt after reading “The Hour That Changes The World” and found it helps them to quiet down and immerse themselves in God’s word. Next year, the club will be reading “The 44 Miracles of Jesus”. Pray for their inspiration.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN TRACT OUTREACH: The Great Commission from Christ wants us to go forth and spread the Gospel to all peoples. Many churches have realized that tracts are an excellent tool to achieve this. Pray for more churches to see the effect of tracts.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) OIKOS MINISTRY: 100K tracts have been given out and 40K households were reached. Singapore has about 1.4m households so about 2.8m tracts costing $110K would be needed. Pray for more brethren to participate with their love offerings and their time.
2) “GROWING IN CHRIST” AND “KNOW THE TRUTH”: The first book teaches that to have spiritual growth, we must move on from the basics and grow to perfection in His truth. The latter book shows readers how to truly know God. 30K will be printed for APAC. Pray for the readers.
3) CHRISTMAS EVANGELISM: Joy to the world, the Lord is come! He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. Pray for the Christmas outreach by the churches to win many souls.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) EAST ASIA AND MIDDLE EAST MISSIONS: Missions work has met with many challenges due to the Myanmar civil war and the Israel-Hamas conflict. Hate breeds strife while love blots out all wrongs, and only Christ’s love can bring true peace. Pray for more missionaries to bring the love of God to these places.
2) “NEW YEAR BLESSINGS” AND “NEW YEAR NEW HOPE”: Humans are powerless against natural and manmade disasters and hope to create a better tomorrow through traditions and customs. These tracts share real hope and blessings with readers. 2m will be printed for APAC. Pray for their effective use in His work.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: In all our troubles, God would always comfort us. Pray for God’s healing upon Bro. Rev. Luo Qiming whose cancer is spreading,
