SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 155 COUNTRIES: In the capital of Venezuela, the ripe gospel harvest is hindered by shortage of resources and channels. Pray for God to open the way for the Good News to reach the people.
2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: EHC Tanzania set up a church and several Christ Groups lately. They will reach out to more villages in the coming months. Pray for another bountiful harvest for their team.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: The ethnic rebel insurgence against the Myanmar junta continues to escalate but the EHC Myanmar team perseveres in its outreach efforts amidst the chaos. Pray for the Gospel to reach every home.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: Many youth in Burkina Faso are trapped by vice and drugs. Pray for God to send His servants and for churches to join in the effort to bring the Gospel to these lost souls.
2) CCIS: Thanks be to God! With the brethren’s support, CCIS 2023 has concluded successfully, conveying the Gospel via hymns and performances. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in the visitor’s hearts.
3) “GONG XI FA CAI” TRACT: CNY is coming and festive songs can be heard everywhere. People have become more concerned about health nowadays but eternal life in Christ is even better than good health. Pray for this tract to be a blessing of God to many this CNY.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS MINISTRY: SEHC held an appreciation for the OIKOS project during Thanksgiving and we were touched by the many testimonies. Pray for the Lord to lead more brethren to come onboard!
2) LOCAL FDW MINISTRY: OIKOS volunteer Sis. Shi is also an active evangelist to FDWs. She shared that she and her mother once prepared hot meals for 120 FDWs. A sister in Christ was inspired to share their story in church. Pray for more brethren to join the ministry.
3) A SOUL A DAY (ASAD) : Many people have travelled overseas for the year-end holidays, but the ASAD team continues to fight the good battle for the Gospel at Orchard Road. Pray for the true meaning of Christmas to be known and lead many to receive Christ.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) “WHAT DO WE LIVE FOR” BOOKLET: What does life really mean? To fill our stomachs? To enjoy? To be blessed? To serve the people? To be religious? Pray for this booklet’s use in APAC where it will be printed.
2) “REMEMBERING THE SOURCE”: If you are Chinese, do you know your origins and why you are in this world? Which religion was the original Chinese faith? This booklet offers insight and historical explanation. Pray for the 30K copies printed for East Asia.
3) “WHO IS GOD?”: Is Jesus really an imported God from the west? This booklet explains the relationship of God, Emperor, and Heaven in Chinese tradition through the history of the Altar of Heaven in Beijing and demonstrates how the Chinese had always worshipped the Lord. Pray that this booklet will bless many.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC INTERCESSORS AND DONORS: As OIKOS begins its 7th round, tract printing costs have also gone up. Your prayers and support are blessings from God to us and enables to Gospel to reach every last home and will surely be remembered by the Lord.
2) EVANGELISM IN SOUTH ASIA: Transport, education, and healthcare are lacking in poorer countries and many pastors have to work a secular job to keep going. Pray for their struggling evangelism and the unsaved.
3) EHC EVANGELISM WORLDWIDE: EHC HQ and branches will take on many challenges in the new year to inspire churches and equip believers, enhancing outreach to remote and sometimes dangerous places so the unsaved can hear the Gospel. Pray for God’s wisdom and strength upon them.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) 2024 MINISTRY VISION: Moral values have not kept up with rapidly changing times and the stress of work nowadays have crushed many. Pray for the church to overcome the challenges of this colourful world that affect believers’ values and help them to grow spiritually.
2) “DAILY DEWDROPS”: Christians ought to tackle life’s challenges with God’s word, thus this book by Elder Samuel Ching contains 365 selected verses that revitalize readers daily. Pray for God’s blessings.
3) “REFLECTIONS ON THE PURITY OF FAITH”: Dr. Wu, Kuo-An focuses in this book on refuting erroneous teachings that impact the Church. 5K copies will be printed for APAC. Pray for truth-seekers to see through cultists’ deception and obfuscation.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 36 CREATIVE REGION EHC MINISTRIES: Statistics have shown that resistance against the Gospel has been on the rise in these places. The co-workers need the wisdom and protection of God to run the ministry and nurture believers, and also to consistently supply bibles and other gospel materials to them. Pray for God’s guidance and mercy.
2) “JESUS IS OUR SAVIOUR” IN TAGALOG AND THAI: Elder Samuel Ching explains salvation in simple terms in this tract. Hopefully, more churches and brethren will reach out with this tract to migrant workers and professionals to help them know Christ. Pray for God to open many hearts to His grace and salvation.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Pray for our OIKOS volunteer Sis. Chen Xiaoling’s treatment for intense hand pain, Sis. Wang’s constant giddiness, Taiwan’s Rev. Chen Dewang’s eye stroke treatment, Bro. Xin’s mobility issues, Rev. Kao’s weakness when walking, and our elderly volunteer Sis. Qingxiang’s stroke recovery. Pray for God’s grace and healing upon them.
