SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 145 COUNTRIES: EHC Papua New Guinea and the many volunteers in Karkar Island have been working to reach every home on the island. Pray for courage and wisdom to speak the gospel message and that many would come to know Jesus.
2) 350K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: Evangelism and spiritual nurturing in creative access regions are notoriously difficult. Pray for the Christ Groups to be effective in supporting new believers to know Christ amidst their communities’ oppression and resistance.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: Please pray for the situation in Russia in light of the war and the trauma that it has caused. Churches are divided into those who support the war and those who do not support the fighting. Pray for unity and peace.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: A few months ago, EHC Cameroon began door-to-door evangelism in the district of Mandjou, an area in the eastern region. Accessi-bility to the houses, however, remains very difficult. Pray for traveling mercies and for the Holy Spirit to speak to hearts.
2) CCIS UPDATES: The fundraising budget for this year is yet to be raised and we look forward to greater participation and support from the brethren. Pray for God’s provision and His guidance for this year’s ministry.
3) HINDI TRACT OUTREACH: Hyderabad is India’s 4th most populous city but sadly, Christians are a tiny minority. SEHC contacted a pastor there to translate the “New Life New Hope” tract to Hindi. Pray for the tract production and the subsequent outreach.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) UKRAINIAN REFUGEE MINISTRY: Christian ministries in Ireland continue to welcome and support refugees fleeing from Ukraine, who continue to enter the island in a steady flow. Pray that God would guide the believers in prayer, in word, and in action as they minister to these broken and tired people.
2) EVANGELISM IN CREATIVE ACCESS REGIONS: Remote locations and little-known languages posed a huge challenge to evangelism. Pray for heavenly wisdom to lead co-workers in bringing the Gospel to these peoples.
3) EHC HQ REACHES OUT WITH OIKOS PROJECT: HQ President Rev. Tanner Peake hopes for all EHC co-workers to unite under God’s hand to fulfill the mission to evangelise the world through Oikos Project. Pray for all to be able to hear the Gospel and turn to the Lord.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) SEHC PUBLISHING: Aside from tracts, SEHC also prints bibles and spiritual books every month, and many course materials and gospel booklets for APAC. Pray for the pastoral co-workers to have abundant spiritual resources to nurture and guide believers.
2) GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER CHURCH MINISTRIES: Not everyone knows why Jesus suffered. Pray thus for believers to use tracts on these days to proclaim how He died for us, was buried, and rose from the dead on the 3rd day to overcome death for us.
3) “KNOW THE TRUTH” AND “SONG OF A WANDERER”: Both books provide strong arguments for the existence of God and explain the salvation from Christ. The second book is especially recommended for intellectuals. Both books will reprint 20K copies in APAC. Please pray for the printing and distribution.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: It is better to give than to take, and our brethren have prospered the Gospel in faith, bringing the fragrance of salvation to many and increasing the numbers of the saved.
2) PRAY FOR OUR LOCAL PASTORS: Pastors must disseminate and teach the truth clearly to believers and prepare them for ministry and outreach while awaiting Christ’s return. Pray for their massive responsibilities.
3) LOCAL CHURCHES AND BRETHREN IN EVANGELISM: Pray for God to raise many gospel warriors to evangelise with tracts both during and outside of festive, and for churches to encourage believers to reach out to housing estates in groups to plant seeds for the Gospel.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) LITERARY MINISTRY CO-WORKERS: Dr. James Yu had written many books and provided SEHC with a rich array of literary resources over the last 20 years. He continues to write prolifically today despite his advanced age of 90+ years. Pray for his example to encourage young believers to serve in literary ministry.
2) “ORIGIN OF LIFE” AND “DON’T MISBELIEVE”: Written by Dr. Timothy Ho and Rev. Joseph Wong respectively, the 2 tracts will have 2M printed for APAC. Pray for the smooth printing and delivery and for readers to find and embrace the one true God.
3) NORTH MYANMAR THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE: By God’s grace, another cohort of over a hundred students have graduated and started to serve. 108 youth were baptized under the youth ministry and 91 committed to ministry. Pray for God to lead and provide for the new school year.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) A SOUL A DAY MINISTRY (ASAD): The team is working hard to open up new outreach areas apart from the existing 10 and training new blood to lead evangelism. Pray for their challenge to find suitable churches for new believers who are migrant workers.
2) PRAYERS FOR THE SICK: Pray for Rev. Oh Beng Kee’s weekly dialysis, SEHC ex-volunteer Mrs. Wee’s frailness with age, and the massive medical fees of Elder Samuel Loh who had just been evacuated home from South Korea after falling into a 3-month coma from COVID. Pray for the Lord’s provision and healing.
3) AFGHANISTAN’S CHRISTIANS LIVE IN FEAR: Under the Taliban regime, their hearts are filled with fear and despair. The Taliban have even banned women from university and work. Pray for God’s protection upon the fearful Christian brethren.
