SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 155 NATIONS: EHC Macedonia joined forces with a church to train believers for outreach in their eastern regions. The results were encouraging, and a pastor has also joined them. Pray for their unity as they unearth new harvest fields.
2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: Evangelism and discipleship work were never easy in South Asia. Recently, two families received Christ and were baptized, but there was no church nor strong believers nearby who could support them. Pray for them to grow under the care of the Christ Groups and for others to come to Jesus through their example.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: Evangelism in Belgrade, capital of Serbia faces a great challenge from opponents of the Gospel. Pray for the co-workers to persist by the Lord’s strength to lead many to Christ.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: The recent 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire was an opportunity for the churches and gospel ministries to reach out to many soccer fans. Pray for the gospel seeds to follow as they return to other parts of Africa.
2) CCIS: The committee has already started planning for this year’s event and fundraising. Pray for their health and for the smooth delivery of this year’s event, and for new blood to join the team.
3) TRACT OUTREACH IN EAST ASIA: Unemployment has hit 20% in some parts of East Asia and crime rates have spiked. Cultists also took the chance to penetrate the community. Pray for the Lord to use the 2M tracts printed each month to lead many back to the right path.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS MINISTRY: Many people were receptive to our sharing but were held back by their beliefs in pagan faiths. Pray for the Lord to break the barrier and lead them to know Him.
2) GOSPEL OPPORTUNITIES: The recent visa-free travel granted to east Asians not only improved the economy, but also created evangelistic opportunities. Pray for God to inspire the churches to grasp this opportunity.
3) “HOLDING HANDS FOR A LIFETIME”: Divorce rates have led to many traumatized kids and made the young adults hesitant about marriage. This is a guidebook for successful Christian marriage life. 20K were printed for East Asia. Pray for families to be edified through it.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) WATCHING OUT FOR CULTS: We have had cultists trying to propagate their beliefs at our office, while a sister in Christ shared how her church friend was deceived. The sheep needs to know the shepherd’s voice so they will not be led astray. Pray for the Lord to guard our hearts.
2) WAR IN MYANMAR: As the civil war continues to rage, some Bible colleges have opened their doors to shelter refugees and conducted short gospel camps which led 12 people to the Lord in just 3 days. Pray for the true light of the Lord to guide those in hopelessness to Him.
3) AFTERMATH OF MARIJUANA LEGALIZA-TION: In the past 1.5 years since some SEA countries legalized marijuana, edibles like cakes, drinks, and sweets laced with the drug raised new concerns, especially for the youth. Pray for the Gospel to ward off the spread of this dark influence.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: SEHC has come to a new milestone with the support and prayers of the brethren, so that many are saved, and God’s name is glorified. Pray for His abundant blessings upon them.
2) EAST ASIA AND APAC EHCS: The goal this year is to equip the directors and co-workers for upcoming challenges and cultivate new believers and new harvest fields. Pray for the funds and manpower needed.
3) TRACT: “DO THE RICH NEED JESUS?”: A recent local university survey found that as Singaporeans got richer, they became less happy. This proves money cannot buy happiness and true joy is in Jesus Christ. Pray for many to come to know Him and find true fulfilment.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) SEHC LITERARY MINISTRY: The Lord will return soon, and we must not underestimate the effect of the global situation on our efforts to spread the Gospel. Pray for our co-workers to produce more effective gospel materials and for the support of the churches and brethren.
2) CNY OUTREACH MINISTRIES: We give thanks for the use of SEHC ang pows, orange bags, and CNY tracts by the churches and brethren in CNY. Pray for all those willing to hear the Lord’s amazing call and come to Him.
3) TRACTS: “LIFE’S AMAZING TRANSFORMA-TION” AND “BE A BOUNTIFUL PERSON”: 2M copies were printed for APAC to lead the unsaved to Jesus and help them see through the vanity of worldly wealth and discover true riches in the Lord. Please pray for the readers.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) TRACT: “NEW LIFE NEW HOPE”: A God-loving church elder couple sponsors 100K tracts monthly for South Asia’s outreach to the needy and youth trapped in bondage to tobacco and drugs. Pray for the Lord to prepare the literary materials needed by new believers.
2) A SOUL A DAY MINISTRY: The team reaches out to 10 places each week and hopes to bring in more brethren to uncover new harvest fields. Pray for them to lead many to salvation.
3) OUR ELDERLY VOLUNTEER RESTS IN THE LORD: Our long-time volunteer Sis. Chen Qingxiang returned home to the Lord at the age of 98 on 07 Jan and the memorial has concluded smoothly. Thanks be to God. Please pray for her family.
