SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 178 EHC BRANCHES IN 155 NATIONS: Prisons are forsaken places, but EHC Thailand reached out to the prisoners within. Pray for the 1,000+ new believer inmates to repent in Christ and for the provision of the tracts the team needs.
2) 400K CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: The rising population in South Asia is difficult to evangelize. Pray for more volunteers to hasten the Gospel and for the Christ Groups to nurture more disciples for Christ.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: Almost half of Czechia’s people have no religion, so it is a great harvest field, yet their church is uninterested. Pray for their revival and for the churches to reach the unsaved.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 CAMPAIGN IN AFRICA: The mining growth in Mozambique’s Moatize led to a population surge in Tete. Pray for the co-workers’ door-to-door outreach and for their lives to influence the locals.
2) CCIS: CCIS raises funds with different methods each year. Aside from the usual charity dinner, there will also be a movie premier this time. Pray for the Lord’s bountiful provision.
3) TRACT OUTREACH IN EAST ASIA: Tract evangelists in East Asia were arrested by the police for questioning but was filled with peace and even shared the Gospel with the officers. Pray for God to watch over them.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS MINISTRY: Many homes left their doors open in the hot weather, which gave our volunteers many opportunities to share the Gospel with them. Pray for God to add to the number of the saved.
2) INCREASE IN WICKEDNESS: Job scammers have upped their game and now trick victims into coming to Singapore before travelling to other countries for a “promotion”. Pray for God to smite the criminals and protect the safety of our country.
3) WATCHMAN’S PRAYER GUIDE: The darkest places need the most alert prayer warriors. This is a guide for 24/7 rotational prayer. 20K copies will be reprinted for East Asia. Pray for God to raise an army of intercessors.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) “GOSPEL EXPRESS”: Frigid cold, heat waves, earthquakes, and wars are all reminding us of Christ’s return. God wants all to be saved and none to perish. 30K will be reprinted for East Asia. Pray for many to be saved for God through this booklet.
2) “MY PRECIOUS BOOK”: A sister In Christ shared about receiving this book as a child and how she wishes to use it to bless other children now that she has grown up. 5K will be reprinted for East Asia. Please pray for its use by the Lord.
3) HAGAR MINISTRY: The ministry helps women trafficked to Singapore to be sex workers, shares the Gospel with them, and counsels and trains them in marketable skills. Pray for more victims to be saved.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: Inflation has added considerably to the cost of our ministry operations. Please uphold us in prayer and support us with your generosity. Pray for the Lord to raise more prayer warriors and donors.
2) EHC GLOBAL EVANGELISM: EHC hopes to let all peoples around the world hear the Gospel by 2038. This requires the co-labour of churches and brethren, and strategic use of technology. Pray for God to expand the team and for His provision.
3) NEW POLITICAL LEADERSHIP FOR SINGAPORE: Singapore is not spared from the everchanging international situation’s effects. Pray for the new team to have wisdom to rule justly and care for the vulnerable, establishing a stable society where the Gospel can thrive.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) “A BRUISED REED HE WILL NOT BREAK/ WHAT CAN I RELY UPON”: Our merciful God cares for the oppressed and grieving and reaches out to save them. Pray for these 2 combined tracts to help many lost souls discover the meaning of life.
2) MYANMAR EVANGELISM: Many youth have fled Myanmar to avoid conscription. Some mothers have broken down when their sons were forcibly conscripted and a few grandmothers committed suicide. Pray for the director of EHC Myanmar as he is also of conscription age, so that he and his team can continue to spread the Gospel to the suffering people.
3) WORLD MISSIONARY PRESS: They print gospel tracts and booklets monthly to be distributed to needy places and creative access regions for literary outreach and spiritual support. Pray for their timely deliveries and social media outreach amidst the increase in demand.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) THE SECRET TO QUIT GAMBLING: Gambling is a serious vice that can lead to bankruptcy and broken families. Only through the transformation of life can a gambler indulged in get-rich dreams be awakened. Pray for this tract to help gamblers find Christ and quit gambling.
2) RUSSO-UKRAINIAN WAR: More than 500K lives have been lost with Ukraine struggling for survival, but the church continues to grow amidst the firestorm. Shelters have become fellowship grounds, and many are seeking the Lord. Pray for God to raise more workers to take up pastoral and evangelistic roles and for the war to end soon.
3) PRAYERS FOR THE UNWELL: Pray for Rev. Joel Siew’s severe uremia treatment, Rev. Oh Beng Kee and Rev. Dominic Chan’s weekly dialysis, Bro. Chen Qinghe’s stomach cancer treatment, Rev. IG’s (SEHC tract author) poor health, and Rev. Thomas’s cancer treatment in a Nursing Home Hospital.
