SUN: PRAY FOR ALL LEADERS OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) 180 EHC BRANCHES IN 165 NATIONS: EHC France uses social media to spread the Gospel of hope, with nearly 15K people receive encouragement and discipleship online each month. Pray that the Lord will lead many to Jesus through this innovative effort.
2) 400K+ CHRIST GROUPS WORLDWIDE: In areas where churches are hard to find, Christ Groups play an important role to strengthen believers. Pray for the Lord to use them to nurture believers and new converts.
3) EHC HQ AND BRANCHES IN EVANGELISM: Volunteers of EHC Thailand were hit by the economic downturn and many cannot assist the ministry like before due to lack of income. However, they are grateful that God sent foreign mission teams to stand-in. Pray for their economy to recover so the volunteers can return.
MON: PRAY FOR GOVERNMENTS AND THEIR LEADERS IN ASIA
1) FEED 5,000 IN AFRICA: Burundi in East Africa is one of the poorest regions in the world. May God grant their government wisdom to maintain peace and stability and open doors for the Gospel.
2) CCIS: The fundraising film “Sight” scheduled for July 29 has received quite a good respond in support. Pray that the Holy Spirit will move churches and brethren to glorify God with their active support.
3) TRACT OUTREACH IN EAST ASIA: Evangelists in East Asia sometimes encounter unexpected danger and hardships. Please pray for their daily safety and for God to use the distributed tracts to lead many to the Lord.
TUES: PRAY FOR EVANGELISM IN THE ASIAN WORKPLACE
1) OIKOS OUTREACH: Some new believers cannot go to church due to frailty or illness. Thank God that Ps. Yeo is willing to visit and nurture them. May God bless and strengthen these new believers.
2) INCREASE IN TOURISTS: Since the beginning of this year, arriving tourists have exceeded 1 million for several months. May God inspire the churches to seize the harvest opportunity brought to their doorstep.
3) “GOSPEL Q & A”: "Will believing in Jesus give you food?" "Can you still worship ancestors if you believe in Jesus?" Pray for 20K of this book printed for APAC to help readers discern the truth and remove their doubts to come to Christ.
WED: PRAY FOR SOCIAL CARE MINISTRY IN ASIA
1) IN-PERSON WORSHIP: Brethren need personal interaction to grow spiritually and better use God's gifts to build the body of Christ. Pray for insight and wisdom from God to handle the impact of technology on in-person worship.
2) “KNOW THE TRUTH”: This book proves the reality of God from various perspectives. A brother bought copies for a book club in Thailand to lead Chinese readers there to know God. Pray for God to bless many through them.
3) “WELCOMING NATIONAL DAY WITH GREAT ZEST AND CELEBRATION”: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, for He is the source of all blessings. As the country prepares for its 59th birthday, pray for churches to use tracts to help more people know God and add joy to the celebration.
THU: PRAY FOR ASIAN TRIBAL CHURCHES & LIT. EVANGELISM
1) SEHC DONORS AND INTERCESSORS: God moves the brethren and provide for SEHC needs, and working alongside with us to accomplish His ministries. Pray for their continued zeal and love for the Lord that have blessed many thus far.
2) SPECIAL CHILDREN MINISTRY: Autism, intellectual and physical disabilities, and visual impairments cause varying sensory and emotional needs. We hope churches will pay attention to special children's ministry and equip Sunday school teachers to guide them to know and trust in Jesus.
3) EAST ASIA AND PACIFIC EHC MINISTRIES: Despite turmoil, EHC Myanmar’s evangelism work has not stopped. Other branches also continued driving evangelism and discipleship. Pray for the EHC directors’ meeting in Siem Reap in mid-August.
FRI: PRAY FOR SEMINARY EDUCATION AND AGENCY MINISTRY
1) SEMINARIES IN SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA: Pray for all Christians called to be equipped to receive comprehensive theological education and character and faith to be pleasing to God wherever they will be serving.
2) “JESUS WANTS TO SAVE YOU”, “BELIEVE AND BE SAVED”: These two illustrated tracts were out of print for many years and were recently reprinted. The message is simple and clear with pictures explaining salvation to the elderly and children. Pray for God's guidance in their use.
3) FOCUSING ON YOUTH: Teenagers today face disorientating crises and some go astray while others suffer from psychological issues. Pray for God to help churches strengthen youth evangelism and guiding them to trust in the Savior to face life.
SAT: PRAY FOR THE MISSION MINISTRY OF ASIAN CHURCHES
1) CHRISTIANS IN THE SECULAR TIDE: The world's influence overwhelms and draws people away through virtual reality and unbiblical trends. Pray that Christians will hold fast to the truth, acting as children of light and bearing fruit for the Lord.
2) EVANGELISM IN SOUTH ASIA: Paganism is rife in the region and makes gospel outreach challenging. Our partners bravely mobilize believers empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the gospel, and lead the ready to Jesus. Please pray for them.
3) PRAYERS FOR THOSE IN POOR HEALTH: Ps. Goh Su Er had a severe back sprain while Ps. Thomas suffered from a stroke. Rev. K T Kao still has weak legs. SEHC volunteer Sis. Liang Yuxiang's 90-year-old mother is chronically ill. Rev. Oh Beng Kee, Rev. Chen Yiming, Rev. Joel Siew, and Bro. Xie Ciyong are undergoing dialysis. Please pray for all of them.
